The Lionel 6-12025 is a 4-1/2" straight track section from Lionel's FasTrack system — the easy-to-assemble three-rail O gauge track that's been the backbone of Lionel layouts since 2003. This shorter straight is a perfect filler piece for tight spots, custom layouts, sidings, and yard ladder arrangements where a full 10" straight is too long.

About FasTrack
FasTrack is Lionel's modern O-gauge track system, designed to look great straight out of the box with realistic gray ballast and dark-tie detail molded into the roadbed. The track snaps together with built-in connectors — no separate track pins to fumble with, no roadbed to add later. FasTrack is fully compatible with all Lionel O gauge locomotives and rolling stock that run on traditional tubular O track, including conventional transformer control and TMCC/Legacy command systems.
FAQ
Will it work with Lionel O27 trains?
Yes — FasTrack is O gauge, and most O27 trains will run on it. Straight pieces like this 4-1/2" work fine with anything O gauge or O27.
Can I mix this with traditional tubular O track?
Lionel makes adapter pieces to connect FasTrack to tubular O. The adapters are sold separately.
Why use a 4-1/2" straight instead of a 10" straight?
Short straights are essential for fitting yards, sidings, and tight spots into your layout. A 4-1/2" piece lets you adjust spacing in increments smaller than the standard 10".

Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC was founded in December of 2019. It was started by our family that has been in love with everything, trains large and small, driven by creativity since we were born.
