The S1 type is your standard 2 position latching ON/OFF style rocker switch. This is the most widely used switch, and is used in a multitude of applications that can control power or signal to a range of 12-24V DC accessories. These type of switches are commonly referred to as SPST (single pole single throw) type switches.
FLIP S1 type switches feature two LED indicators. One LED, usually oriented as the lower LED, is INDEPENDENT and dedicated to illuminating the text of the actuator cover. The second LED, usually oriented as the upper LED, is DEPENDENT on the state of the switch. If the switch is in the ON position, the LED will be ON, and vice versa.
