This is a full-team baseball card sheet from the 2006 Shreveport Sports, an independent league team in the American Association. They finished 54-39 that year, second in the South Division.

The Shreveport Sports name dates all the way back to 1925 in the Texas League. That original team played off and on through 1961, winning Texas League titles in 1942, 1952, and 1955. The modern independent version revived the name from 2003 to 2008 before becoming the Shreveport-Bossier Captains.

Almost every player on the sheet is signed. Here are the ones we checked, with their 2006 stats:
