Bachmann's N scale USRA 0-6-0 switcher with slope-back tender is a versatile yard engine ready for almost any 1920s-and-later layout. The painted, unlettered black finish lets you decal it for your own freelanced railroad or weather it for a custom road of your choice. With a die-cast chassis, all-metal siderods, and traction-tired drivers, this little switcher pulls strong and tracks smoothly down to 11.25" radius curves.

Will it work on my DCC layout?
It's a standard analog DC model out of the box. To run it on DCC, you'd need to install a small N-scale DCC decoder — there is no factory DCC version of this exact item.
Can I letter it for my own road?
Yes — that's the appeal of the painted unlettered version. The black factory paint takes decals and weathering well, so you can dress it up for any pre-1950s road that ran 0-6-0 switchers.
What's the smallest curve it can handle?
11.25" radius (or larger). It's happy on tight yard trackage — perfect for the switching role it was designed for.
