THIS 1981 BOOK IS IN VERY, VERY GOOD CONDITION, see below.  Jenny lives in the city but each summer she visits her grandmother who lives by the beach.  She loves spending time playing in the sand, finding seashells, & gathering mussels.  One day she is caught in a storm & shares a cave with two tiny kittens.  When the storm is over, Jenny heads for grandmother's home with the kittens running into Granny.  The kittens stay with Jenny & her grandmother & they find that the two are very different from each other.  At summer's end, Jenny wants to take both of them back to the city but her parents say only one can go home with her.  How does Jenny decide & what happens to the kitten she doesn't choose?  

Marks:  No name, tape or writing on pages or covers; front cover at top right corner has a light mark where a price sticker was removed; the mark is not sticky.    

Tears:  To all top page edges a 1/8" tear in the middle of the page edge & a 1/8" to bottom edge of first three page edges; one has a fold.

Corners:  Page are square with very, very slight bends to bottom tips.  Cover are also square, all tips have some color loss & both back also have a tiny bit of paper cover loss showing the board with bottom back tip slightly soft.     

Binding:  Very tight, foil is bright, complete & attached save a tiny foil loss at top of spine while bottom is like new. 

Cover:  Front has the discolor noted above & very shallow & spotty color loss to board edges.  Back has very minor color loss + a tiny paper cover separation at top board edge & a shallow nick to bottom board edge with a bit of paper cover loss showing white.
