Pinecone Cleaning, Disinfection, and Baking Process

All pinecones we sell have been carefully cleaned and disinfected before shipping. The process includes:

• Cleaning & Soaking: Pinecones are soaked for approximately 30 minutes in a 1:2 vinegar and water solution to remove dirt, debris, and insects.
• Rinsing: After soaking, they are thoroughly rinsed with clean water.
• Pre-Drying: Excess moisture is removed, and the pinecones are left to air dry (typically overnight).
• Oven Treatment (Disinfection): Finally, the pinecones are baked on a lined tray at approximately 200°F (95–100°C) for 1–2 hours to ensure they are fully dry and disinfected.
