Johnson’s 4Fleas Tablets use nitenpyram, a fast-acting oral treatment for fleas. After dosing, it’s absorbed into the bloodstream; any flea that bites ingests the active and its nervous system is rapidly over-stimulated, leading to paralysis and death.
Fleas start to die within 15 minutes, with more than 90% gone in six hours and complete eradication by 24 hours. Because the drug clears quickly, there’s no residue on coat or in the home, and it can be used alongside spot-ons or IGR sprays as part of a full flea-control programme.
Suitable for cats and kittens over 4 weeks of age, between 1kg and 11kg.
Give one tablet to any cat or kitten over 4 weeks and 1 kg when fleas are seen. Offer directly by mouth or hide in a small amount of food - ensure the full dose is taken. Do not exceed one tablet per day. Repeat on any subsequent day fleas are present. Combine with environmental control (vacuuming, household spray) and regular preventatives to stop re-infestation.
