This map is titled Agai Maris Insula Cum parte aliqua Gracia & Asle Minoris, which roughly translates to Islands of the Aegean Sea with some part of Greece & Asia Minor.


The left side of the map shows Greece (labeled Grecia) and the southern Balkan Peninsula, including regions like Thrace (Thracia).

The right side shows Asia Minor (Anatolia), part of modern day Turkey. This area includes historical regions such as Paphlagonia, Bithynia, Galatia, and Lycia.

The Aegean Sea (labeled Aegaei Maris), filled with many islands, lies between these two continental landmasses.
