FAQ
Does this set include a locomotive or rolling stock?
No, this is a track and power supply set only. You will need to purchase a locomotive separately to run trains on this layout.
Can I expand this layout later?
Yes! Kato Unitrack is a modular system. You can add expansion sets like the M2, V1, or V2 sets to create larger, more complex layouts with sidings, passing tracks, and more.
What power source does the Power Pack SX use?
The included Kato Power Pack SX (22-018) is a DC controller that plugs into a standard wall outlet. It provides smooth speed control for analog DC locomotives.
Is this compatible with DCC?
The included power pack is DC only. However, the Unitrack itself is fully compatible with DCC systems — simply replace the power pack with a DCC command station.

Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC was founded in December of 2019. It was started by our family that has been in love with everything, trains large and small, driven by creativity since we were born. We grew up playing with model trains and watching, learning about and studying different aspects of magnificent locomotives on a daily basis and today we still do.
It also has helped us get through rough times while dealing with being diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Trains and creativity have always helped calm our daily lives while also becoming self-taught on making designs and artwork.
With this our family activity that grew into a really big hobby! We realized local train stores were barely available and we also wanted to start offering other model railroading fans our self-made creations for their enjoyment. We want to help the community around us by providing model railroad supplies and continue the legend of the greatest hobby on earth, model trains and railroading!
