This broadband low-power RF amplifier is suitable for various radio transmission applications, such as shortwave and FM remote control, FM radio station transmission, amateur radio (135–175 MHz), and walkie-talkies (380–470 MHz). With a maximum input of 2 mW at the low-frequency end, it can deliver a maximum output of 2.5 W. At 500 MHz, the maximum output is 2 W; at 800 MHz, 1.5 W; and at 1000 MHz, 1.0 W. The amplifier’s housing features heat dissipation capabilities, ensuring long-term stable operation.

1. Before use, ensure that all instruments and equipment share a common ground (to eliminate potential differences), then connect them using RF cables. Always connect a load; operating without a load is strictly prohibited. Pay special attention to this, particularly when using power amplifiers.

Ensure that the antenna is impedance-matched within the operating frequency range (generally requiring a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than 2.0). Never use “improper” antennas, such as telescoping antennas, copper wire antennas, or extremely cheap antennas, as these do not have a defined impedance.
3. Whenever possible, use a linear power supply, especially when operating low-noise amplifiers. In such cases, you must use a linear power supply or batteries. Switching power supplies generate significant noise, which can couple into the amplifier circuit; therefore, you must not use switching power supplies.
