This vintage sterling silver Stieff Rose carving set includes a two piece set consisting of a meat carving knife and fork with sterling silver guard handles between the sterling handles and the stainless steel inserts. 

The Stieff brand is known for its intricate Stieff Rose pattern, with the guard handles hallmarked, "Stieff Sterling." 

The carving knife measures 11 5/8 inches in length, while the carving fork measures 9.75 inches with a combined weight total of 7.93 ozt.

The meat carving knife blade and meat fork tines are both hallmarked, "The Stieff Co. Stainless Steel Sterling Handle," and, "Stainless," indicating their stainless steel content.
