Rare tiny 1” antique Frozen Charlotte doll in unglazed bisque porcelain, dating to approximately the late 19th century (circa 1850s–1890s). This miniature example is exceptionally small — about penny height — making it far scarcer than standard Charlotte dolls.
Classic characteristics include:
• Solid one-piece molded form
• Arms held to sides
• Rigid upright posture
• Minimalist facial features
• Matte bisque surface
These tiny versions were often used as dollhouse dolls, charm pieces, or prize novelties, and their survival rate is low due to fragile size.
This has not been cleaned. Shows natural age speckling, kiln marks, and patina consistent with authentic antique bisque. No visible repairs or modern alterations.
