Vintage Marx Battleground play set in its original box. Please be sure to read this entire description so you know exactly what you’ll be receiving. I recently picked up this set from the original owner who got it as a kid in the 1970s. He told me that he had a few older brothers who also had some Marx play sets when they were kids. He believes his mom condensed a few different military sets into this one main box, so there’s now a lot more in the box than originally came with this set. I’m definitely not an expert on Marx play sets, so I have no idea how complete it is or what went with other sets. I’m selling it as I got it and will leave it up to the buyer to figure it all out. As for condition, I did notice a broken tab here or there but overall everything is in good shape w/light play wear but no chew marks or other damage or abuse. You get 52 American soldiers and 50 German soldiers along with a bunch of accessories. The box has some overall shelf wear and it’s missing 1 side flap but still solid and displayable.
