Note:
Before removing the old switch, please disconnect the fan from the power supply and make sure to note the location of all disconnected wires during the removal of the switch.
Donn't cutting the wire from the old switch, insert a very small screwdriver next to the wire and pull it out.Then insert the tinned wire into the new switch in the same order as the removal.
If you cut the wire, you will lose the hard tinned end and it will be difficult to insert a new switch unless you peel it again and re-plate the soldering iron.
