Bound in its original green pebbled cloth with titles in gilt on the spine.Very good condition, some light marks to the cloth, spine a little faded, but the gilt is still bright, board corners bumped. Internally very clean and bright, with the exception of very faint offsetting from one or two of the hand-coloured plates. Illustrated title page and 11 other hand-coloured plates, beautiful and delicate miniature botanical illustrations. Poetry by many authors, including Wordsworth, Byron, Keats, Milton, Goethe, Burns, Pope, Shakespeare, and many others. A lovely, and quite scarce, little book.
