Grading Standard:	1st Generation AKA Original Real Photo
Size:	8x10 inches with some minor variation. (Paper Size)
Blacklight Test:	Not Performed.
Other Notes:	Original photo and document group collected by the naval historian and author Thomas Gaffney for one of his books (Our Navy's Flag Officers). He would obtain these from the officers or their families or official sources. Note when a date is given it is normally taken from the last "service" date on the biography or off the photo itself. This item comes with photo, newspaper article about his father who was killed in WWII and had the destroyer USS Newell DE-322 named after him and biography. Do not expect perfect photos. Often old photos have small creases and tears around the edges.
