If the adapter cannot sit flush against the wheel due to overlong studs, you will need to modify the original studs. If the wheels do not have a hollow recess and you opt not to replace the studs with shorter ones, grinding or cutting the existing studs will be required. Failure to address this issue will prevent the adapter from functioning properly, drastically shorten its service life, and pose a serious safety hazard.

  • Please confirm your actual needs before buying – wheel spacers and wheel adapters are not the same product. Wheel adapters are specifically designed to change the bolt pattern, allowing wheels from one vehicle to be properly mounted on the hub of a different vehicle.

  • Thoroughly clean the studs to remove any dirt, oil, grease or other contaminants. When installing the included lug nuts onto the axle studs, ensure the tapered end faces the spacers. Tighten the nuts by hand only, following a crisscross sequence – do not use an impact wrench. It is recommended to apply threadlocker for added security.

  • After driving the first 50–100 miles, inspect all lug nuts and adapter bolts to check for looseness, as vibration during initial use may cause them to come loose. For ongoing safety, recheck and retighten them every 3,000–5,000 miles.
