- Sulfation occurs when a lead-acid battery is undercharged or left unused for extended periods. Sulfate crystals form on the battery’s lead plates, which can reduce the battery’s ability to hold a charge and shorten its overall lifespan.
- Pulses of electricity, typically high-frequency, low-current pulses, are applied to the battery. These electrical pulses break down the sulfate crystals that have built up on the plates over time.
- As the sulfate crystals are reduced, the lead plates become more effective at conducting electricity, which restores the battery’s capacity to store and deliver power.
- This process also extends the life of the battery because it reverses some of the damage caused by sulfation, a common cause of battery failure.

1. Does this regenerator work for all sulfated or defective lead-acid batteries?
>It can help restore the capacity of sulfated batteries, but cannot be used with defective batteries, such as those with short-circuited cells, open-circuited cells, or dried-out sealed batteries.
2. How do I connect it to the battery?
>Connect it the same way as a charger: • Red wire → positive battery terminal. • Black wire → negative battery terminal
The device will automatically detect the battery voltage and start operating. If the voltage is not detected correctly, press button M to manually select the proper voltage.
3. What do the LED displays represent?
>Example codes:
C12 → 12V battery detected
C72 → 72V battery detected
BL0 or BLL → Battery is in low voltage condition
4. Can I leave it permanently connected to the battery?
>It is not recommended to leave the desulfator permanently connected to batteries with capacity under 100Ah. For smaller batteries, continuous connection may cause voltage drop or discharge, since the unit consumes about 5W of power.
