A 15mm inner diameter suits many common UK radiator pipes, but always check your pipe OD (outside diameter) and the space around the hole in the floor.
Clean around the pipe and floor opening.
Open the split ring and place it around the pipe.
Close and align the join so it looks neat.
Optional: add a small dot of wood glue or double-sided tape underneath if you want it held firmly in place (not required for many installs).
Finish to match: sand lightly, then paint/stain/varnish.
