Paiute tribe inspired obsidian blade knife with a deer antler handle. The entire display was handcrafted by Jeffery Pikyavit, who is a member of the Kanosh band of the Paiute tribe of Utah. The blade was knapped from obsidian which is found locally. The handle is accented with hand painted designs. The figure on the display stand is the logo of the Kanosh band of Paiutes. He is Pah-Sah-Nav (the water god), and is an actual petroglyph which can be found locally.
