This device is a Cobra 25 NW LTD Classic Citizens Band (CB) radio. It is a 40-channel mobile transceiver that combines the standard features of the Cobra 25 LTD with "NightWatch" technology, which provides a backlit front panel for easier operation in low-light conditions.


Key Controls & Features

Dials (Left to Right):

VOL - OFF / SQL: The inner knob controls power and volume. The outer ring (Squelch) filters out background static; turn it clockwise until the noise just stops for the "Desired Squelch Setting".

RF GAIN / DYNA: The inner knob (RF Gain) optimizes the receiver sensitivity for weak or strong signals. The outer ring (Dynamike) adjusts the microphone's outgoing audio level.

DIM: A dedicated knob to adjust the brightness of the backlit front panel and display.

Channel Selector: Large knob on the far right used to switch between the 40 CB channels.

Switches (Top Center):

ANL / OFF: Activates the Automatic Noise Limiter to reduce engine and ignition interference.

NB / OFF: Toggles the Noise Blanker, which is highly effective at filtering repetitive electrical noise.

CB / PA: Switches the radio from standard CB communication to a Public Address mode if an external PA speaker is connected to the back.

CH19 / CH9 / NOR: A quick-access switch for emergency Channel 9 or highway Channel 19. Set to "NOR" for manual channel selection.

Visual Indicators:

S/RF Meter: Displays incoming signal strength when receiving and relative power output when transmitting.

RX/TX LED: Glows green when receiving and red when the microphone button is pressed to transmit.
