FRITZ PETERS was born in Madison, Wisconsin and spent much of his childhood in France. He's an ex-member of the famous 29th Division. The original editions of his first novel, The World Next Door (Signet #813 abridged), and of Finistère, were published by Farrar, Straus & Young, Inc.
