This device is a Pikachu-themed pedometer toy that lets you enjoy walking together with Pikachu while tracking your daily steps.

The pedometer features a 7-digit total step counter and can store daily step data for up to 7 days, offering enhanced functionality as a step tracker. The design was created by Nintendo’s development team and is inspired by the classic Game Boy layout, including the button arrangement and overall shape.

Inside the device lives a virtual Pikachu, which you can view on the small LCD screen. As you walk, the built-in sensor counts your steps, allowing you to “walk together” with Pikachu. The more you walk, the higher your friendship level with Pikachu becomes.

In addition to steps, the device accumulates “Watts” (1 Watt per 20 steps). You can give these Watts to Pikachu to further increase your friendship level, or use them to play mini-games, such as a slot machine (5 Watts per play, equivalent to 100 steps).
