The bat demonstrates evidence of excellent use and is un-cracked. Many ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. There are also some blue ink transfers on the left and back barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the back barrel and red bat rack streaks on the front barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the handle as well as four rings of tape to enhance the grip. The model number (R161) is engraved on the front barrel. Hollins' Phillies uniform number "15" is written on the knob in black marker.

Hollins was an infielder for the 1990-1995 and 2002 Philadelphia Phillies. He was the starting 3rd-baseman for the 1993 Phillies National League Championship team.
