THIS VINTAGE CLOCK IS NOT WORKING - OFFERED FOR PARTS or REPAIR. When
plugged in, the clock hums fairly loudly and the second hand moves VERY (V-E-R-Y) SLOWLY. I'm guessing this is an easy fix - IF you know what to. (I
haven't a clue.) Part of one of the back
legs is broken off and missing. (It still stands on its own, but falls backward at
the slightest touch.) One of the front legs has a crack, and it appears to have been repaired. (Glued back into place.) It has a great deal of paint wear, and the
paint is CONTINUING to flake off, so I expect at least a little more
will occur during shipping. This heavy metal refrigerator clock was produced in the years
1928, 1929, 1930, and 1931. They were NOT SOLD TO
INDIVIDUALS. They were ONLY GIVEN TO DEALERS who sold major appliances.
It is marked, "GENERAL ELECTRIC...TELECHRON...WARREN TELECHRON CO.
ASHLAND, MASS." Please study the pictures carefully to see what is being offered.
