Delight in the charm and craftsmanship of this 4-piece dog figurine lot, featuring a mix of breeds including a nostalgic 1930s English Bulldog, a whimsical Shih Tzu, and adorable Cocker Spaniels. Each piece is created from high-quality materials such as porcelain, ceramic, and resin with brass accents. Perfect for dog enthusiasts and collectors alike, these figurines serve as a playful reminder of the joy and companionship these animals bring into our homes.
The largest one is made of fine porcelain and is attributed to 1930s, with an opening in his collar where she used to be attached to a chain and two puppies. The puppies have long been adopted out and the chain has been long removed. she is in great hand painted shape otherwise. I believe she is an English Bulldog. She was designed in Japan.
The little black and white resin hand painted puppy is a shih tzu with a Christmas cookie in his mouth. He used to stand one foot on a dish of cookies that is no longer there. Santa must have taken it. This dog has a brass heart on his collar and a brass ring to hang him on your Christmas tree if you wish. He stands up fine on his own. He was made in China. He was dated at 2008 Puppy Love Hallmark.
The two brown vintage ceramic dogs are Wade Red Rose tea Whimsies. They are cocker spaniels with a high gloss glaze. They were made in England.
