What Is it?
D20596 is a single‑port 1/4 NPT adjustable pressure switch with a 140 to 175 PSI operating range. It is used on two‑stage air compressors built by Black and Decker, including Craftsman, Porter‑Cable, and Delta units. The switch uses a two‑pole single‑throw design and can operate on 120 or 240 volts. It restores automatic start and stop control on compressors originally equipped with the D20596 pressure switch.
