I am selling a very rare and sought after 1950/60s Henri Selmer Paris Soloist Scroll Shank Soprano Saxophone mouthpiece in  all original and good overall condition. The H tip opening is a very very rare and because of that desireable and sought after tip opening among players and collectors. These mouhpieces were produced and delivered with the Mark VI five digit Saxophones. The mouthpiece has the round chamber.

This mouthpiece is a very good preserved example of a Vintage Soloist mouthpiece. Tip, rails, table and baffle are in original and very good condition. It was never refaced or worked on- all original. The tip is very clear and "sharp". The tip opening meassures 0,0635 (1/1000 inch) or 1,615 mm. So that is exactly an „H“ opening (that is equivalent to Otto Link 7). It plays great from top to bottom. You can blow it very easily and free with great intonation and a versatile warm Selmer tone.

It has some minor optical traces as scratches and discoloration. No cracks or other damages. The Ebonite shows the usual discoloration and some brown oxidation. The oxidation shows that it is genuine Ebonite and not one of these chep plastic copies. All engraving or inscriptions are still easily legible and well preserved

It is a ultra rare and sought after piece with quite warm and full Sound.

Ich biete hier ein ausgesprochen seltenes und begehrtes Henri Selmer Paris Soloist scroll shank Mundstück für Sopran Saxophon aus den 1950er bzw. 60er Jahren zum Verkauf an. Es handelt sich um ein Mundstück in der sehr seltenen Bahnöffnung „H“ im originalen Zustand. Das Mundstück weist die charakteristisch Runde Kammer auf. Diese Mundstücke wurden mit den frühen five digit Mark VI Saxophonen ausgeliefert und sind – insbesondere in dieser Bahnöffnung – bei Sammlern und Musikern sehr begehrt.

Es befindet sich in einem altersgemäß sehr gut erhaltenen originalen Zustand. Tip, Rails, Baffle und Table sind in original und schadensfrei. An dem Mundstück wurde nie refaced bzw. etwas nachbearbeitet- alles original. Insbesondere die Spitze ist schön "scharf". Die Öffnung beträgt gemessen 0,0635 (1/1000 Inch)  bzw. 1,615 mm, was genau der angegebenen Bahnöffnung „H“ entspricht (entspricht Otto Link 7). 

Das Mundstück ist technisch hinsichtlich der Spielbarkeit einwandfrei. Es spielt über den ganzen Umfang frei und leicht mit warmem, vollem und angenehmem Ton, gleichzeitig gut modulierbar und mit sehr guter Intonation. Es hat lediglich optische Gebrauchsspuren wie einige Kratzer. Und ist vintage typisch angelaufen und mäßig bräunlich verfärbt (siehe Bilder). Dies zeigt auch, dass es original ist und keine der schlechten Plastikkopien. Die Aufschriften und Gravuren sind hervorragend lesbar. Es hat keine Schäden wie Risse und dergleichen.

Am besten erkennt man den guten Zustand auf den Bildern!
