I have updated the listing to show that you can boot into the Arris Surfboard admin screen at the 192.168.100.1 local address. Obviously, there's no internet / coaxial connection, but the device does turn on, and I am at least capable of confirming that it will boot and communicate.

I disconnected my Comcast service, so this hasn't been used in months. The clamshell's 2 little tabs have been broken, so now it opens freely. I don't have any method of testing if it's still perfectly functioning. That's why it's been listed as For Parts. It is sold as-is because I do not have a method for testing it (I have fiber optic connection now, so besides powering it on, I can't test that it communicates and gets an IP assigned).
