An Authentic Antique Map: Not a Modern Reproduction

Description:  It is an authentic engraved antique map over 200 years old with original handcoloring and a centerfold as issued. It is designed by Richard Palmer as stated in the bottom right margin and the publishing info is in the bottom center. It is from the Palmer's The Bible Atlas of Sacred Geography Delineated (London: Barclay, 1823), 1st Edition. A facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic. Overall, a very nice rare map with original hand color that would frame up nicely.

Size: The map image measures, from neat line to neat line, approximately 5 3/4 by 7 inches (14x18cm) on a 7 by 9 1/2 inches (18x24cm) page as seen in the pic with a wide margin all around for framing as seen in the main pic.

Condition: The map is in Good or better condition, blank on the reverse, printed on a strong buff paper with original handcoloring and a centerfold as issued. There is some wear and darkening along the bottom edge, otherwise it is fairly clean with bright original color, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.

Shipping: We only charge one nominal shipping fee and do combine additional maps at no extra costs and gladly refund extra shipping when purchased individually and shipped together, since ebay seems to be demanding immediate payment on some individual transactions. For multiple purchases it is best to use the ebay cart system which will automatically calculate the correct shipping when multiple maps are purchased at once and there is free US domestic shipping on 5 or more maps. International rates apply elsewhere. The map is placed in a plastic sleeve, anchored to a stiff brown paper for support and to prevent edge damage, then shipped in a heavy duty wide shipping tube. 

International Shipping: We only ship insured through the ebay International shipping program and can only ship to the official ebay address on file at the time of purchase, all international orders are insured.

International Customs and VAT Fees: It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or other fees that may be due upon arrival or throuh ebay. These fees vary greatly from country to country and ebay policy is that the buyer is responsible for their country's taxes and fees.
