Up for sale is a Disney Pixar Cars custom based on a cancelled car, that being “Moderfied Mater”. This custom diecast is based on Mater’s appearance at the end of the Tokyo Mater short. This custom uses an official Tow Mater diecast released by Mattel, and the wooden modifications were made using durable craft wood. Despite the wood modifications covering the back tires, they still roll just fine. This custom was specifically based on the official prototype image of the official cancelled diecast seen in the official 2010 Collector’s Handbook.
