Product description

The gingival guard is comprised of silicone and is used to facilitate a relatively dry environment in

the proximal area between two teeth and to protect the gingiva against dental materials.

Indications

Establishing a relatively dry environment in the case of complete dentition, for example when using con or

Composite filling materials.

Contraindications

Not suitable for establishing absolutely dry environments.

Do not use in cases of allergies to one of the ingredients or in the event of contact allergies.

Side effects

No systemic side effects are known to date .Hypersensitivity to components of the material or contact

allergies cannot be excluded in in individual cases.

Instructions for use

Avoid damaging the gingival guard with dental floss or other materials. Do not use damaged gingival

guard.

Recommended use

1.Clean the working area.

2.lf the teeth are very close together .separate the teeth using a wedge.

3.Pre-stretch the gingival guard by gently pulling the tabs apart.

4.Position the gingival guard over the affected teeth. Make sure that the tabs are pointing in the direction

of the area being worked on (Fig.1).

5.Place the gingival guard over the affected teeth and pullthe tabs apart(Fig.2)

6.Place the interdental section of the gingival guard in the proximal position.

Note: The middle interdental section is used to protect the working area(Fig.3:A)

7.Pullthegingivalguardtowardsthegingivauntil theinterdentalsectionsarepositionedintheproximal

area(Fig3)

8.Release the gingival guard(Fig.4.)

9.Foldthegingivalguardcervicallywhere theteethareisolated.

10.Fold the tabs cervically (Fig.5).

11.Remove wedges as appropriate.

12.Verify thatthegingivalguardisproperlyseated andcorrectifrequired(Fi.6).

13.Furhermsurestofacilitateryvironment(egottonrolisasiration)cancarriedoutas

required.

14.Perform treatment.

15.Remove the gingival guard and discard.

Disposal

After use,disposeoftheproductinhouseholdwaste.

Storeina dry place(15-25C/59-77°F)atroom temperature.
