This is an antique European dirty aqua blue glass hand faceted elongated tube bead which was handmade in Bohemia which is now part of the Czechoslovakia / Czech Republic and it is spaced with Venetian made glass red white heart beads which were all used in and collected from the African trade. This antique Bohemian made African trade bead is in great condition for this bead type with slight wear and a ding and it measures 19.41mm long by 5mm wide. This antique trade bead type is commonly referred to by bead collectors as Russian Blue beads which is just a slang name derived from the use of these beads in the Russian fur trade although a larger quantity of these beads were traded into Africa.
