Vintage John Juzek violin labeled “formerly in Prague.” Half-size instrument believed to be a mid-20th century Czech workshop violin imported by Metropolitan Music Co., New York.

This violin was recently found in a New Jersey estate sale and is being sold as-found / project condition.

• Three tuning pegs are missing (one peg currently installed)
• Soundpost is present inside the violin

• Normal cosmetic wear, scratches and finish wear from age and use
• Untested and sold as a setup/restoration project

The violin body measures approximately 12 inches.

The back shows attractive flamed maple and the instrument appears to be solid carved construction typical of Czech workshop violins from this period.

• Hair present but worn and likely needs rehair
