Item Description
An original sixties concert programme for the Grateful Dead and Country Joe & The Fish performances at the Fillmore East, New York. Sha-Na-Na were the opening act. The groups performed on the 26th and 27th September 1969. The programme is accompanied by one ticket stub for the 26th Sep numbered K103 and two ticket stubs for the 27th Sep numbered NN104 and W125. Provenance: the item initially comes from the collection of Jacaeber Kastor the previous owner of Psychedelic Solution Gallery in New York's West Village. Kastor was believed to have a complete collection of Fillmore East programmes and other concert items. After the closure of Kastor’s gallery in 2004 the item was brokered by Erik King to the private art collection of Jim Pallotta. The programme measures 14.2cm x 21.7cm (5.59 inches x 8.5 inches). It has a light discoloured mark centre front and on the bottom edge on the reverse. Small creases on the corners and pen marks on the reverse. The condition is very good. The largest ticket stub measures 5cm x 3.8cm (1.96 inches x 1.49 inches). There is a glue mark and small peel on the back of the brown ticket. All three have uneven edges where torn and small creases. The condition is very good.

Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.
Poor = Extremely worn.
A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
