Up for sale is a genuine Hesai XT32 32-channel mechanical LiDAR in excellent working condition. This is the medium-range LiDAR I personally used the most because of its very stable, high-precision ranging and consistently clean point cloud — great for robotics, SLAM, mapping, and perception projects.

Why this LiDAR (High Precision)

• High ranging accuracy: typ. ±1 cm

• Excellent ranging precision / repeatability: typ. 0.5 cm (1σ)

• In terms of distance measurement accuracy, the XT32 is rated tighter than many popular mid-range spinning LiDARs that are commonly specified around ±2–3 cm typical accuracy (e.g., Velodyne VLP-16: ±3 cm typical, Ouster OS1: ±3 cm typical on Lambertian targets, RoboSense RS-LiDAR-32: up to ±3 cm typical). This makes the XT32 a strong choice for surveying, mapping, and other high-precision workflows, delivering dense, stable 360° point clouds suitable for reliable measurement and consistent geometry.

Effective Detection Range (real-world useful spec)

• Range detection up to ~120 m (typical spec)

• POD > 90% @ 80 m on 10% reflectivity targets (all channels)
  (In practice, your usable range depends on target reflectivity, weather, and scene—this is why the 10% @ 80 m metric is a good “effective” reference.)
