Oh my goodness… this one is pure Holt-Howard cuteness! 🐾💕
Up for adoption is a rare and highly sought-after 1958 Holt Howard “Cozy Kitchen Kitties” butter dish, one of the most beloved cat collectibles from the golden age of mid-century kitchen design.
The charming butter cover features two sweet kittens peeking at one another on the front, their bright eyes full of curiosity. Flip the dish around and their tails intertwine on the back—one of those playful, thoughtful details Holt-Howard was so wonderfully known for.
The base is decorated in the iconic Cozy Kittens green and black plaid, a hallmark of the Cozy Kitchen Kitties line. Introduced in 1958, these whimsical feline pieces quickly became a fan favorite and remain one of the most collectible Holt Howard cat series today.
Many Cozy Kittens pieces feature cats wearing caps, bows, scarves, or plaid accents, giving them that unmistakable mid-century personality that we cherish today.
