Based on this concept, the j.custom is Ibanez's highest-end electric guitar, crafted in a Japanese workshop to meet the diverse styles, tastes, and demands of guitarists.
■RG j.custom Super Wizard 5-Piece Maple/Wenge Neck
The neck is crafted from a 5-piece combination of maple and wenge, aiming for a natural sound while maintaining sufficient strength.
The ultra-thin Super Wizard shape offers both playability and a slim profile, making it ideal for players who prefer an extremely light grip.
The neck and back are finished in Velvetouch, which feels as comfortable in the hand as a guitar that has been played for years.
■ Rosewood Fingerboard
A rosewood fingerboard delivers a balanced, solid tone with a prominent midrange.
■ j.custom fret edge treatment
This custom treatment rounds the edges to create a spherical surface.
Not only is it necessary to create a spherical shape, but even the precise shape requires skill, and this process is only possible with skilled artisans, who meticulously handcraft each instrument.
You'll surely notice the stress-free, smooth feel when making large changes to your left-hand position.
■ Flame Maple (4mm) Top & African Mahogany Body
The African mahogany body, which provides rich mid- and low-range characteristics, is topped with AAA-grade flame maple, featuring beautiful grain.
■DiMarzio Pickups
The neck position features an Air Norton pickup, characterized by its clear and warm sound; the middle position features a True Velvet pickup, characterized by its bright and noiseless sound; and the bridge position features The Tone Zone pickup, characterized by its powerful sound and balanced output from high to low frequencies.
■Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo Bridge
The bridge features the Lo-Pro Edge, an original tremolo with an extremely low profile design. By positioning the unit as low as possible and positioning the fine tuners toward the rear, the guitar is less likely to be hit by the hand while playing and cause tuning errors.
■Gotoh Machine Heads

■Tilted Jack Cavity
