The item for auction is a brand new condition W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company 2000 Product Catalog. Again, it is in BRAND NEW condition and of course was the yearly Case Catalog for Case's Consumers, Dealers, and Distributors (of which I am one). 

The Catalog is 8 1/2" x 11" and 48 pages, and includes a page with words from Greg Booth, the President of W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. There is a history page about the history of knife making in America. Each page has amazing photos displaying each knife with a sheen in the ink that makes each item really stand out on the pages. 

The knives are listed with their assigned Case Item number and a brief description of blades and measurements. Also included are pages with Case XX Knife memorabilia such as License Plates, Hats, Honing Oil, Knife Sharpeners, Shirts, Bandanas, etc.

This 2000 W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company Catalog introduces the Case RussLock pattern which was the last knife designed by legendary Case Master Knifemaker, Tommy Hart (1930-1999). The RussLock (1953L) pattern features a liner lock and a gimped lever for convenient one-hand opening. The RussLock was inspired by the Jack Knife (028), a pattern that has been retired for over 40 years. The significance of the 1953 pattern number assigned to the Case Russlock is this: John Russell Case - Russ Case as he was known - passed away in 1953. And of course the Russlock is named in Russ Case's memory.
