Natural and black stained boxwood, varnished. Weighted and felted. 

King measures approximately 88mm in height by 35mm base

Queen measures approximately 83mm in height by 35mm base

Rook measures approximately 50mm in height by 27mm base

Bishop measures approximately 65mm in height by 27mm base

Knight measures approximately 58mm in height by 30mm base

Pawn measures approximately 45mm in height by 25mm base

Generally this is a lovley set in an excellent condition. The set is complete and shows no signs of major damage or repair. The varnish is cracking in places and some of the stain on the black pieces has worn. Some of the felt is beginning to come loose. The box is marked in places and shows general signs of ware commensurate with age.
