This vintage 3” Porcelain Ginger Jar with Lid is a small decorative piece featuring a floral pattern in a beautiful red-orange color. Made of porcelain and originating from Japan, this retro-style jar stands at 3 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. Comes in gift box, which shows areas of wear, but jar has been protected and in storage since being acquired in the mid 80s in Tokyo. Comes with a black plastic stand.
NOTE: I was not able to determine if the lid is removable. This jar has not been out of the box since 1985, so I did not attempt to force it. It may be strictly a decorative piece, or you may try to remove it yourself after you have purchased it. I have another jar listed on eBay in Green, purchased at the same time, and that lid is removable.
