Lovely Early Victorian English Woolwork Tapestry. 

Made by Martha Platt 1848 - Martha was born in 1827 in Whitfield Parish, Glossop Derbyshire. 

She made this piece when she was 21. 

Featuring a girl & dog seated in front of a wooden shed. Floral bouquet. 

Foliated border. 

appx 60cm square

Unframed - Will be sent rolled around a tube & boxed. 

Condition as pictured. Some holes. Colours good for age. 

This is from a collection purchased from the descendants of Martha and I have more Samplers from other family members.
