The DEWALT DWE6423 5 in. Variable Speed Random Orbital Sander is designed for smooth, efficient sanding on wood, metal, and plastic surfaces. Powered by a 3.0 Amp motor, the sander delivers consistent performance with pad speeds ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 OPM for fast material removal and fine finishing.

Its shorter height profile allows users to get closer to the work surface for improved control and precision. A separate counterweight design reduces vibration for enhanced comfort during extended use, while the rubber over-mold in critical areas provides a secure, comfortable grip.

The integrated dust collection system includes a one-hand locking dust bag and is designed to interface directly with DEWALT DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. For other vacuums with 1-1/4 in. hoses, the DWV9000 universal quick connector can be used.
