The shipping costs for coins and banknotes offered in our auctions (EUR 1.10 within Germany and EUR 1.80 abroad) are deliberately kept low for standard letters weighing up to 50 grams. For multiple purchases, please request an invoice from us. This allows us to adjust the shipping costs individually depending on the total weight and any request for insured shipping. The coins and banknotes offered in our auctions all come from a street collection that my husband and I carried out several years ago together with friends for the German Fanconi Anemia Association (Deutsche Fanconi-Anämie-Hilfe e.V.). The original goal was to ask the residents of our hometown to donate any remaining Deutschmark coins and banknotes after the switch to the euro. To our great surprise, however, numerous currencies and collectibles from other countries were also donated. 

For far too long, we could only save coins and bills that could not be exchanged directly at banks in Germany and abroad, as we had much more important tasks to attend to in our personal fight against Fanconi anemia (two of our own daughters are affected). Now that we are retired, we finally have the time to take care of the long-planned eBay listings. We would like to use the proceeds from the sale to continue supporting the charitable work of the association and Fanconi anemia research projects at the universities of Würzburg and Düsseldorf.
