Cross that gap the Menards® way: The Menard Bridge with Lights

Large tonnage, high-speed railroads need to run fast and frequently. There is no shortage of obstacles that railroads need to overcome! Rivers, creeks, and gullies, not to mention highway or railroad underpasses are all threats to train speeds and timetables! Overcome those obstacles to speed the Menards® way!

The basics: This is designed as a stylized suspension bridge. Strong structural support towers bolster each end, while the deck is connected to the main aerial support with the stylized name MENARD. The tower sides have caution lights that operate in steady white LED mode or multi-color chase mode.

The lighting requires a 4.5-volt power supply, sold separately (Menards® SKU nos. 279-4061/4361, 4062/4362, or 4050). Power may be applied through either a rear tabletop pug in or from below the building with a pigtail connector.

The dual track bridge is 18 inches long, 8-3/4 inches wide, and has a clearance of 6 inches high. Track is no problem. There is plenty of room for running two main lines, whether made with traditional tubular track or Lionel Fastrack.

Why you need this: The bridge evokes an era of earlier bridge design. It suggests a poured concrete superstructure, possessing curved tops of the end towers. The deck supports are unique, saluting the popular Menards® train brand with the letters MENARD connecting the superstructure with the deck!

The standout feature is LED lighting that's embedded in the sides of the tower. A mode switch allows you to select business-like white or celebratory color LED flash modes.

The O scale Dual Track Bridge gives you the option of running two separate mainlines over a stream or gully and will be the focus of attention when two trains blast through it during a running session!
