Vintage King Kong Menko Card Japan Showa Era Monster Paper Ephemera

Description

This listing is for one authentic vintage Japanese menko card featuring King Kong.
Menko were traditional Japanese paper game cards widely played by children from the pre-war period through the early Showa era. Because they were originally inexpensive play items, surviving examples are now considered collectible pieces of Japanese pop culture ephemera.

This card was produced in Japan and features a striking illustration of King Kong with vivid colors and dynamic artwork characteristic of mid-20th-century Japanese printing. Western film characters were popular subjects for menko, making this piece especially appealing to collectors of vintage movie memorabilia and monster-related items.

This is an original vintage item, not a reproduction, reprint, or modern copy.
The card shown in the photos is the exact item you will receive.

Condition
Vintage used condition.
There is visible edge wear, corner wear, surface wear, and age-related toning consistent with age.
A diagonal crease is present, visible from the reverse side and faintly noticeable on the front under certain angles.
Despite this, the card retains strong colors and impactful artwork, making it suitable for display.
Please review all photos carefully for condition details.
