KM number: KM-406.1
Mint / mintmark: Chihuahua (CH)
Assayer: M
Mintage: 18,000
Weight / metal: 6.768 g, .9027 silver
Obverse:
Scales show clear structure with both pans and central post well defined. Liberty cap and rays remain distinct with moderate wear across the high points. Lettering is bold and complete. Fields show scattered light circulation marks but no wipe pattern or brightness that would suggest cleaning. Rim is mostly full with minor softness typical for the issue.
Reverse:
Eagle retains solid feather detail through the wings and body with good separation remaining. Wreath elements are complete and well outlined. Legends are sharp and fully readable. Surfaces show even wear with original toning and normal field chatter but no major hits or distractions.
18,000 minted from Chihuahua — one of the smaller outputs in the series. Most CH coins you run into have been cleaned, overdipped, or worn down hard. This one’s just a straight, original mid-grade piece that hasn’t been messed with. The better northern mint stuff doesn’t hang around long when it shows up.
