Cane Creek HCR Stem Description:

The Cane Creek HCR Stem is designed to provide a clean hose and housing routing solution for road and gravel bikes equipped with internal cable routing. Constructed out of forged and CNC-machined 6066 aluminum alloy and filled with stainless steel hardware, this stem has a 4-bolt face plate to create a rugged and stiff stem that is also remarkably lightweight. The most unique feature of this stem is the wide HCR channel underneath, which works with Cane Creek's HCR headset (sold separately) and the included aluminum slotted headset spacers to cleanly route cable housing and hydraulic brake hose from a bicycles frame on its way to the handlebars. The width of the HCR channel is optimized for routing brake cables and hydraulic hose, but it can also be used to route shift cables and housing for anyone using a mechanical drivetrain. Finally, this stem has a shape and understated graphics that match well to modern road and gravel bikes, and that durable finish ensures the clean appearance of the front of the bike will stay that way for a long time.

Note: While this stem can be used by itself, for the cleanest cable routing and appearance this stem should be paired with a Cane Creek HCR Headset.
