The reverse bears the original molded maker’s mark:

“PUBLIPLAST S.A. – San Andrés Atoto #67 – San Bartolo Naucalpan – Estado de México – Hecho en México”, confirming Mexican manufacture during the period when melamine was widely used for promotional and souvenir housewares.
