For sale is a remarqued limited edition print by J.W. Mitchell. The print comes with a certificate of authenticity from Mirage Fine Art.

The print is in excellent condition, never framed, and stored flat in a nonsmoking environment. The overall size of the print is 25" x 19.5".

The print is signed by Air Commodore R. Berry and the artist.

The print depicts flying Officer Peter Pease of No. 603 Squadron as he pressed a ferocious attack against a formation of Heinkel bombers of Bomber Geschwader 26 as they were returning from an attack on London.  Flying Officer Pease pressed his attack against the bombers after penetrating the fighter escort.  Pease was subsequently shot down by a Me109 while making his courageous attack.  This was one of many engagements during the Battle of Britain.
